To begin troubleshooting this problem I recommend checking the connections on your T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118618. Often when one function is not working it is due to a set of connectors not seated together properly. Some movement can be eliminated with a stabilizer , but since it's at the hinge it seems like a rack issue. If the movement is happening at the hitch, try tightening it down a little bit more than before. If you've already tried that you can get this stabilizer # e99007 to contain the movement. I suggest pulling the 12 volt DC fuse and let it sit for 15-20 minutes to try and hard reset on the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote - Powered Lift - 10 Speed - Smoke # MA00-07500K.
While you are waiting remove the trim and check all the wires and connections for damage like corrosion, shorts or overheating.
